Sister Simona Brambilla, a Consolata missionary, has been appointed by the Holy Father Pope Francis as Prefect of the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life.
After her service as Superior General of the Congregation (from 2011 to 2023), she was appointed Secretary of the Dicastery from December 2023.
